Pricing FAQ
What's the marketplace take rate?
Hobby 12%, Pro 8%, Influencer 6%, Brand custom. Compare to Goldbelly (~15-20%), Caviar (~30%), Grubhub (~30%). The lower your take, the more you keep — and Pro pays for itself if you do over $625/mo in marketplace sales.
How are payouts handled?
Stripe Connect. Standard 2 business days to your bank. Express next-day available. International chefs supported in 35+ countries (Stripe-supported markets).
What about shipping costs?
Pass-through. Customer pays shipping at checkout (rate calculated from chef's address + customer's address + service speed). Pro tier supports custom shipping zones, ChefMarket-arranged refrigerated couriers, and bulk-rate negotiation in select metros.
How does the Influencer tier verification work?
Apply with social handles + recent shorts. Editorial team reviews content quality + engagement + cuisine specialty. ~5 business day turnaround. Verified status surfaces in the marketplace + unlocks Shorts feed inclusion + revenue share.
Can I sell catering?
Restaurant / Brand tier supports catering with custom pricing tiers, advance-order workflows, and B2B invoicing. Stripe Connect handles invoice + payment. Available on Brand tier only.
